Build the Offer

Turn your prototype into something you can deliver with excellence, every single time.

What this stage means

Your MVP got you here, but an MVP is a test, not a product. Stage 6 is where you move from "it worked once" to "it works every time."

This stage is about developing your product or service into its full, deliverable form. Defined pricing and packages. A consistent customer experience from first contact to final delivery. Quality that doesn't depend on whether you got enough sleep. You're taking everything you learned in the Prove It phase, including the feedback, the objections, and the buying signals, and building it into an offer that's genuinely ready for the market.

Customers don't come back for what you made one time. They come back for what you deliver every time.

This is also where you fix what your first customers flagged. Remember that objection list from Stage 4? It's your product roadmap now. Every objection you resolve in the offer itself is a sale you won't have to fight for later.

What to do in this stage

1

Complete the product or service

Build out the full version of what you sell, closing the gaps your MVP testers found. Ship the version you'd be proud to hand a stranger, not just a friendly early adopter.

2

Define your pricing and packages

Set your standard pricing based on what real buyers paid in Stage 4, and document it. If it makes sense for your business, create tiers or bundles that give customers a clear way to choose.

3

Map the customer experience

Walk through every step a customer takes with you, from inquiry to order to delivery to follow-up. Decide what should happen at each step and write it down so it happens the same way every time.

4

Set your quality standard

Define what "done right" means for your offer, whether that's turnaround time, materials, presentation, or service touches. A checklist you actually use beats a standard you keep in your head.

5

Test the full experience end to end

Run several real customers through the complete offer at full price. Watch for rough edges, time how long delivery really takes, and confirm your margins survive contact with reality.

Signs you're making progress

  • You have a complete, deliverable version of your product or service, no more "that part's coming soon."
  • Your pricing and packages are documented, and you quote them with confidence instead of doing math on the spot.
  • Your delivery quality is consistent across customers, and recent buyers would describe the same experience.
  • You know your unit economics, meaning what it costs you to deliver, what you make per sale, and where the margin is.

You're ready for Stage 7 when...

Your offer is complete, your pricing is set, and you can deliver the same great experience to the tenth customer as you did to the first. The product is no longer the bottleneck. Now the work is getting it in front of more people, and Stage 7 is where you build a sales engine that runs every week instead of waiting on luck.
